What's the oldest word you use in everyday conversation?

I know this thread gives free licence to the site's Special Needs posters to ram up stuff like "fuck", "cunt", "shit", "bollocks" and the like, in an attempt to look all laddish - and grown-up laddish, to boot, but how far back in history does YOUR vocabulary reach?

It's out of fashion again? It was uncool when I was growing up in the mid-sixties to seventies. Then came back.
Bloke I work with in his mid-twenties uses it all the time.
I'm pleased to know I'm hipper than him.

Serious answer I would think the word Amen is pretty old dating back to ancient Hebrew.
One of my favourite old words is Mountebank - there are a good few on this site, me thinks.

It seems that 'two' is indeed older than 'one' and 'four' (as in degrees) used to be called 'bullshit' disguised by a little cough...

'I' & 'who' are two of the oldest words. So are 'we' 'two' 'three' and 'five'.
Education is a wonderful thing. It taught me to google oldest words...
